Learn a structured safety protocol and how to effectively improve your
marksmanship.  Ideal for beginners or those who have not taken formal
training.

GLOCK Operations Course

This class focus is on the proper use of the GLOCK pistol.  Safety,
Marksmanship, Fieldstripping, Cleaning, Lubrication, History, gun
manipulation are covered.  Round Count 40.

handgun permit in the state of Virginia.  Both lecture and hands on
shooting instruction it gives the students the fundamentals of using a
defensive handgun for protection inside and outside the home.

Course Descriptions

Fundamentals of Concealed Carry


This course consists of approximately 4 hours of lecture/theory work followed by 3 hours of shooting.  Topics include safety, marksmanship, mindset, gun handling, lethal force considerations and tactical considerations.  Student provides eye/ear protection, defensive handgun, strong side hip holster and 90 rounds of ammunition.  This course meets and exceeds the training/education requirements for a Concealed Handgun Permit in the State of Virginia. A certificate of training is given upon successful  completion.

Introduction to Defensive Handgun

This course consists of approximately 3 hours of lecture/classroom work followed by 2 hours of shooting.  Topics include safety, marksmanship, mindset, gun handling, lethal force considerations and tactical considerations.  This course meets the training/education requirements for a Concealed Handgun Permit in the State of Virginia.  A certificate of training is given after successful completion.  Student provides eye/ear protection, defensive firearm and 125 rounds of ammunition.

Cost $180
*$80 for each additional person




Defensive Handgun I

Prerequisites : Introduction to Defensive Handgun or another introductory defensive handgun course. This class is approximately 1 hour lecture and 2 hours shooting. The course begins where Introduction to Defensive Handgun left off with an emphasis on more training.  This class will introduce malfunction clearing, various shooting positions, strong and support side shooting, use of cover and shooting while moving. This class can be combined with Introduction to Defensive Handgun to provide the student with a solid platform of the defensive use of the handgun.  Round count approximately 250 rounds.

$100 for each additional person



Firearms Handgun Safety & Marksmanship Course

Approximately 2 Hours in length. This course covers handgun safety and marksmanship principles.  This is a shooting course and is ideal for those who have not shot before and want to familiarize themselves with a handgun.

Cost $60.00
*Note: A certificate of training WILL NOT be given for this course.
